On Guruji…

Om Sathguru Sri Seshadri Swamigal Thiruvadikkae

Guru is the Supreme embodiment of compassion and through Him we learn the magnitude of the Creator and the Avathara Purushas making their presence from time to time for the welfare of Mankind. Through several years of meditation and spiritual guidance from His Preceptor, our Pujya Swamiji has realised the Master and Avathar,Creator, Lord Siva Sesha.. Through the eyes and speech of Pujya Swamiji we came to understand the ways of Mahan and the Real course of Life laid out for Sesha Bhakthas.

All through His life and teachings, our Pujya Swamiji not once ascribed for Himself any adoration or importance and remained a true shishya and guiding spirit of Mahan Sesha. He remained a true pleader of mans woes to the Creator and willingly endured all sufferings on behalf of His shishyas until the Creator chose the time and day for redressing the grievances of devotees.  Pujya Swamiji monitored closely the lives of His Shishyas and not once did He lose control of their lives.  By various skills of Sama, Dhana, Bheda & Dandam, he corrected their lives to make them happier souls. His vision was endless and Pujya Swamijis foresight helped many a shishya from taking false steps in life and immensely benefited from Him.  Such were His selfless acts and readily He brought forth the Grace of The Master to the lives of devotees within the shortest possible time. As all our Bhakthas have experienced, Pujya Swamiji visits us in every possible way and continues to bring solace to our lives to this day.

We are reminded of a Doha from the Mystic Poet Sant. Kabir Das ji.

गुरु गोविंद दोनों खड़े, काके लागूं पाँय ।
बलिहारी गुरु आपनो, गोविंद दियो मिलाय ॥

” The Guru and the Creator come to us for giving us Darshan, to whom do we pay our First Respects (Obeisance)” !
” We Rever the Gurus as the Supreme Embodiment of Gods Mercy on us for – he has shown to us the Path to the Creator” !!
Guru indeed is Great for – He has awakened us from deep slumber and made this Gift of Life enjoyable in the Gods Bliss!!!

Pujya Swamiji was an ardent advocate of Equality or Samathwam and  tried in every way to blend with the Atman and the Paramatman as  the Paramatman pervaded all through the Cosmos and all Atman, Living and Non-Living beings formed  integral element of Param Porul.
